Information about Masjid-e-Nabwi

Masjid-e-Nabwi is the mosque established by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) upon his migration to Madinah (then called Yasrab or Yathrib). It is the second-largest mosque in the world, after Masjid al-Haram in Makkah. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave the Muslims of Madinah the title of Ansaar, which means Helpers, whereas the Muslims of Quraysh and other tribes which had left their homes called Muhajirun, meaning Emigrants.
