Information about The Kaaba – Baitullah

The Kaaba is small and cubed building in Makkah which is not a skyscraper in size and its mansions but it has a great impact in history. The Kaaba is the building towards which all Muslims face five times a day, every day, in prayer.

The inside room of the Kaaba is 13 X 9 meters. The Kaaba’s walls are one meter wide. The floor inside is 2.2 meters higher than the place where people perform Tawaf. This small and holy building has been constructed and reconstructed by Prophets Ibrahim (as), Ismail (as) and Muhammad (peace be upon him). No other building has had this honour.
